to bridge the gap between boot and sandal, but when a trainer is just too casual...
Well I found one I love while shopping for school uniform in Matalan!

Wow theyre different red
I like them if they were plain but im not keen on patterned

They have a couple of different styles and colours - i agree the dragon may be a bit much - mine have roses on. They're cheap too.... I might buy some more....

I've just got lost on that site...sooo many pretty shoes.

How do they come up for size ? they have 5.5 and 6.5 and of course I'm usually a 6

SerfTerf · 09/06/2017 18:09

I bought some oxblood penny loafers and then another pair in suede from the Tommy Hilfiger sale (so similar but no snaffles). I've had the same "granny" taunts from DH and DS and I'm paying no attention whatsoever because, firstly, they are SO COMFORTABLE and, secondly, they are quite wrong. They are incredibly retro chic Smile

Wear them if you love them.

I wear Toms a lot of the time. I have massive problems with my feet and they are the only reliably comfortable shoe I've come across - other than boots or trainers.

There are some smarter designs as well as the original ones, and I've unpicked the label on my black ones so they're just a plain black shoe.

Malfoyy · 09/06/2017 19:20

Yuck. They'd look old fashioned on my 73 year old mother!

NassauBeach · 09/06/2017 19:52

I've been wearing these ... very comfortable and not too granny! Or are they? Confused

newtlover · 09/06/2017 21:15

hah, talk about grannyish- I have these but in bluey green suede and have been very pleased with them... till I saw a woman aged about 75 wearing them with polyester slacks and acrylic pastel cardie Shock

Redsippycup · 09/06/2017 22:50

raver I'm usually a 5 - I've just looked and I've got 5.5s and they wouldn't fit if they were any smaller.

I also don't think they would fit with socks, in case you are looking at other, sock friendly, styles!
