Comfy flats for being on your feet for the whole day?

I am starting a new job where I will be on my feet all day, only critirer are that they're flat and comfy. Would preferably like black. I have very sensitive feet that blister easily, especially the back of my heels. I usually where Birkenstocks through the summer and Uggs in the winter as they're safe shoes. So struggling to know what to try! Converse style are awful and make my feet bleed. Any ideas wise ones!?

What are you wearing on your legs? I ask because wearing socks would make a big difference to comfort but not if you're in a smart business skirt or dress.
I generally like clarks for comfort - particularly if you're used to non constricting shoes like birkies and uggs.

I like these www.clarks.co.uk/c/Alania-Posey/p/26123100

Great thank you. Should have said I will be wearing black trousers/jeans.

Those are the black options under shoes and clogs.

Depends if you want a full shoe or pump? I'm a nurse and I wear clarks funny dream for 3 13.5 hour shifts in a row with no aching in my feet at all.

fruitcider you're probablt too tired to feel yourfeet Smile

My favourites (comfort not style!) are Skechers Go Walks. So comfortable for long shifts on your feet. A lot of my fellow nurses love Clarks Unloops, I don't rate them for comfort. They are fab for spills etc but I find they are nowhere near as cushioned as the go walks.

Hotter sell black ballet pumps which are contoured and padded and don't look too granny-ish

Well they do say no sense, no feeling! Grin

I wear Clarks funny dream and am on my feet all day - love them, feel a bit like Jo Brand in them 😉

Shelby1981 · 07/06/2017 17:20

Sketchers!

rollonthesummer · 07/06/2017 17:22

I wear Birkenstocks at work during the summer!

CowParsleyNettle · 07/06/2017 17:33

Seabago boat shoes. I love mine.

blodynmawr · 07/06/2017 18:09

I have Clarks Un Cass. Not the most stylish shoes in the world but IME the most comfy.
I have had several pairs of Clarks Unstructured shoes over the years and they have all been great. No foot pain at all after 12hrs + on my feet and wear straight from the box with no rubbing of blistering.
Whilst I love fit flop pumps and sandals, I have not got on with their shoes as they caused blisters.

I wear Clarks loafers - I find standard flats too unsupportive.

Fleurdebleurgh · 07/06/2017 18:20

Funny Dreams from Clark's for me too! 16+ hour shifts in hospitality.

They look awful with a skirt though.

bojorojo · 07/06/2017 18:20

I would go for loafers and ballet flats by caravela are good. They do great woven ones. Brogues or flat boots for winter.
