Can anybody remember when the big sales start? I'm thinking Jigsaw at the moment but generally as well!

Sure as I passed a Zara today they were lining up the clothes in rails like they do in their sale, so surely not too long. French connection have sale too and Joules.

White stuff has started online today, looks like it will be in store too.

I'm in Ireland. It was the same date last year. Staff confirmed yesterday.

Whilst John Lewis hasn't officially gone into sale yet, they have quite a lot of their branded lines already reduced to clear. I was in store yesterday and snapped up some bargains.

I hope Zara is happening soon. Although I never ever get the size I want. 😕

OK folks, what is Jigsaw sizing like? Is it consistently large (I tried on trousers in the winter sale that were falling off me) so am I safe to go for a 10 or should I order a 12 as well to be sure. I fit a small 12 best and can wear some 10s (depending on style) from places that are consistently large. The sizing guide doesn't help, my hips, bust and waist are officially different sizes in Jigsaw despite me being a classic hourglass .

I'm waiting for Fat Face and M&S - does anyone have any info?

Zara sale does indeed start Thursday in store, Wednesday night online. Last year it was bout 10pm, but worth keeping your eye out earlier. Apparently most things are the usual up to 30% off, there may be a few good discounts on outerwear and the higher price point shoes in Ladies wear. As I haven't seen the list this time I can't check whether that's the case.

It is a week later than usual too, normally it starts by the 18th at the latest
