You know, big calves, and thick ankles etc. I go for trousers normally, and boots + skirts in Spring and Autumn, but are there any shoes even remotely flattering I can wear in the summer?

I'm not good with heels, never learnt how to walk in them properly , but I'm really desperate................

I have to wear closed toes to work in sumemr and have a fab pair from Clarks in this kind of style - remarkably easy to walk in as the cork sole is so light. Ankle straps can be a bit unflattering but worth trying the wedge concept.
