I'm not super slim (two DCs under 8) neither am I young but I tried these on and actually (despite lack of Lycra) they are actually flattering shocker!
I'm size 10 with thighs that are wider than my hips...

I think their jeans designer is a lone voice of sanity at M&S.
I am fat and recently discovered these lovelies, £15 a pair, very flattering and no gaping at the waist. Proper jeans - not jeggings.

I like their coloured "super skinny" jeans as well. Properly fitted, nice colours. Wide enough to go up over my thighs...

Hadenoughtoday01 · 28/05/2017 11:59

I've got some black super skinnies - limited edition range again. They do do good jeans - which are basics

Where's your tshirt from?

Blondielongie · 28/05/2017 19:40

I like your t-shirt and general style.

SafeWord · 28/05/2017 20:40

I find mom jeans flattering too. Im so over skinnies to be honest.
You look great OP

Hadenoughtoday01 · 28/05/2017 21:37

cream that was from M&S - two years ago, thanks safe thank you- I have to say that I've worn these two days now (bought on Friday) and they are giving, so I'm wondering if I should have gone a size down.
blondie thanks too!
That belt is really old. Reiss 2004, but it's quality and it lasts. I don't buy loads of clothes - I am of the age where M&S spelt quality and I guess I still shop there out of loyalty.... Their homous is still good though.

I like their Sculpt and Lift jeans at least I think that's what they're called. If they still make them.

Hadenoughtoday01 · 29/05/2017 10:45

The Top Shop mom jeans fit exactly the same but I've gone up a size. I bought these on eBay for £10. Would never shop there because of BHS situation. But if you can't get the M&S ones these are the same sort of fit - just go up a size.
