Any recommendations, size 18, something plainish, with sleeves 3/4 or to elbow, cool but decent thickness material.

Perhaps an a line, knee length?

Help me.... I'm melting

Following with interest.
Size 20/22 here.

have you checked out pepperberry? Bit pricey but good quality and they are experts in the largo of nork. Their size range is amazing as they take into account the size of your wait and hips as well as norks.

Ishoos · 26/05/2017 13:11

Oh yes, they're bravissimo aren't they? Will have a look, thanks

I like the one you have linked OP but I have bought a linen dress from next. Its in two colours, grey and white and navy and white. Sorry I can't link as on my phone but its lovely and I'm impressed with the quality of it.

I think pepperberry is poor quality sorry.

Ishoos · 26/05/2017 13:58

Looked at pepperberry, not for me, I am middle aged but they feel too middle aged.

Oh dear. I have loads of dresses from there. Confused

Ishoos · 26/05/2017 15:01

Oops sorry buggely! I obviously go for more Mutton dresses as lamb!

Asos curve?

QuinnsNo1Lady · 26/05/2017 15:31

I like the stretchy cotton faux wrap dresses from Mantaray. Have a few patterns and they are super comfy.

WomblingThree · 26/05/2017 19:21

Me too buggeley 😉

I've only just discovered them this year, but I have to stalk them on eBay because they're a bit pricey. So nice to have something that doesn't pull across my boobs.

Ishoos · 26/05/2017 19:45

Like this but needs to be slightly longer to avoid the porky knees being in show. (Also not keen on colour!)

I always find nice wrap dresses work well OP - do they appeal at all?

Ishoos · 26/05/2017 20:30

I think I need a new body as well as a new dress!

Pepperberry is far too clingy, too! I'ma tall size 12, not overweight, slim hourglass with slight mum tum....and the styles are SO unflattering to my tum area, although decent on the norkage.

WHEN will anyone make flattering, stylish dresses for the 30s and 40s 'still got it, and got some cash...but don't have a washboard stomach' brigade? ie. LOADS of us

Fuck sake
