4yo dd described her future wedding dress: she will knit sleeves out of leather and she will wear bra and knickers and white glass slippers with high heels and she will have a veil.

Wow - sounds very striking. But yes, maybe wearing some sort of dress over the bra and knickers would be good. I like the sound of the knitted leather sleeves.
