Fake tan recommendations

Looking to buy a fake tan, looking for something that goes on easily and isn't streaky/patchy and that has a natural colour(not orange) I was going to buy fake bake flawless coconut but decided to ask on here for recommendations before making a purchase!
Also if anyone has any tips for applying fake tan that would be great.

Shiny does it not stain your palms?

No because I don't get any on my palms. I squeeze a dollop onto the back of 1 hand, then rub the two backs together.

Bondi Sands mousse or Mine Tan with the green lid. I use the light Medium in Bondi Sands & leave for 2 hours. The min tan you can leave from 1-3 hours.
Apply moisturiser to knees,elbows,backs of hands & tops of feet. Use a mitt with gloves underneath in long sweeping movements.
To do the backs of hands apply with a latex sponge & then blend & go over with the mitt.
Blot knees & elbows afterwards to absorb excess product so it doesn't grab on those areas.
Use a wet wipe to wipe palms & nails.

I've heard good things about Aussie (I think) brand, Loving Tan. Haven't tried it yet myself though...

Well last night I used the Bondi Sands liquid gold and I am very impressed this morning. It's like the colour olive skinned people go as soon as they walk past the beach. Like a low level gold/ light tan.

I am a self tan novice and I didn't do it 100% perfect. There was a streak down the back of my leg which I have got off with a bit of cleanser and my knees are a darker colour, even though I used the very last bit of residue on them.

I'm impressed. With my newly painted toes I am getting the shorts out
