I remember reading on here before about some cheaper perfumes actually being quite nice.

I'm needing a nice (cheap) summer perfume. Thanks all Smile

Yardley Jade is a deadringer for Annick Goutal Eau du Sud (some think it smells like Chanel Cristalle, but to me it's more like the AG)

Flower boom is a lovely Flower Bomb copy for £5:50 on Amazon.
It's in a little roll on little so not that cheap per mil but it better than the
original imho. There's lots of different scents in the same range - the Violet is lovely too. www.amazon.co.uk/Flowa-boom-perfume-oil-women/dp/B015SYS96E/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1495029469&sr=8-1&keywords=flower+boom+perfume+oil&tag=mumsnetforum-21

Flowa boom

PutThatPomBearBack · 17/05/2017 15:11

Sarah Jessica Parker Nyc and lovely

Zara perfumes we really nice and most of them are £7.99!

YouWouldntLetItLie · 17/05/2017 15:12

Jessica Simpson's perfume range is apparently surprisingly good for the price too.

Idratherhaveacupoftea · 17/05/2017 15:26

Lidl's perfume is great. £3.99p

LadyB49 · 17/05/2017 15:29

I love Avon Rare Gold. People always comment when I wear it. Try eBay where it's even cheaper.

Deathraystare · 17/05/2017 16:59

I got the SJP lovely again in Beauty base plus a body spreay of Je Reviens (an old favourite).

The lady who loves Elizabeth Arden Green tea may like to know they sell this too plus one that has lavender in it as well. I went overboard for Green tea a while back and no longer fancy it!!!

Agree re idl perfume and Next as well. I tried a few M&S ones but wasn't feeling the love.

Deathraystare · 17/05/2017 17:07

Where are you ladies getting yardley Jade from??? I have not seen it.

I noticed in Beayty Base they have Flair (an old Yardley one) Panache (Lentheric) and Tweed (Lentheric).

YouWouldntLetItLie · 17/05/2017 17:08

Boots! Boots has the whole Yardley range including some quite expensive ones. I feel a sort of patriotic loyalty to it - I'd be a bit sad to see it go.

VintagePerfumista · 17/05/2017 17:29

I get Jade from Amazon.

Deathraystare · 17/05/2017 17:38

I did look for it wherever they sell Yardley but nope could not find it. Will look again.

originalbiglymavis · 17/05/2017 17:46

I like the body shop ones. People have actually had a sniff and says 'oh that's nice!' - and not just friends - a supplier did this!

DS squirted me with something on the pharmacists counter (some weird collection of own brand smelly-likey) and it was very nice. We couldn't remember the colour of the bottle so it will remain a £6.99 mystery.

Kimonolady · 17/05/2017 17:53

CK One! So fresh and clean smelling. Easy to find for less than £20.
They knew what they were doing in the 90s..

carbqueen88 · 17/05/2017 18:02

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker is great and I get lots of compliments Flowers

Emmageddon · 17/05/2017 18:15

Vogue, made by www.world-class.co.uk, less than a fiver for 50mls, smells divine, it's a dupe for Chanel no.5. They do a whole range of dupes, and unlike some other copies, the scent lasts all day long.

OvariesForgotHerPassword · 17/05/2017 18:19

CK One is nice and not too expensive.

I can't remember the company name but I got some good £5 dupes from Amazon. There's one called Stars which is just like Alien by Thierry Mugler. Current favourite is their dupe of Coco Mademoiselle.

Nancy91 · 17/05/2017 18:20

Paradise from next is one of my favourites, it smells of summer

Missb00 · 17/05/2017 18:21

SJP 'lovely' is a firm cheap favourite here

greenkecks · 17/05/2017 18:26

Avon Far Away

numbmum83 · 17/05/2017 18:31

SJP "Lovely" I just got 30ml for £9.99 from Body Care today

Cyclewidow46 · 17/05/2017 18:38

Another vote for SJP Lovely.
I always get compliments whenever I wear it.

PinkGlitter17 · 17/05/2017 18:46

Baroque is my favourite of all time. I had to order it at Boots, as it'd been discontinued. But it cost me about four quid, a few years ago! Might be by Elizabeth Arden.

PinkGlitter17 · 17/05/2017 18:48

Make Me Smile by Avon. It's like Cool Water (Davidoff)

PinkGlitter17 · 17/05/2017 18:50

I've got my granny's bottle of Chanel no.5 - it's vintage. About half full. It smells soooo nice on my skin.
