Shoes to wear with Capri trousers

What sort of shoe/sandal should I be looking for?
Would any of these work?

The espadrille type sandals look more stylish than the other ones. I tend to wear flat shoes with capri/or shorter length trousers - ballerina pumps, flat sandals, Havaiana flip-flops, plimsoles.

I think capris need slim looking shoes. The soles of the second two look too chunky to me. I wear ballet flats or plimsoles with them.

Brogues work well for work. The espadrilles above look good. Flat sandals would look nice too. I wear converse with mine sometimes as well, for the school run mostly. Capris and ballet flats are also a very classic look.

I wear loafers with mine or gazelles.

Sorry to appear ignorant but what are gazelles?

Ballet pumps or flat sandals for me too but I do like the orange pumps.

I was going to say wedge espadrilles for casual and high heels for smart. Depends on the fabric of the trousers.
