Are they okay?
How are their sizes? Quality?
Keep getting their catalogue through the door and am quite tempted, but would like a bit of recommendation or otherwise.

Yes, I bought a pair of combats from there a while ago. They were nice fabric, size was about right (I'm a 12) if slightly on the large side, but I like that! I don't know about tops, never tried any. Their sales can be ok with some good reductions.

NotanOtter · 14/03/2007 21:21

yes once in a sail and we loved it all actually - willl look gain now!

Mercy · 14/03/2007 21:22

Did you get a brochure today by any chance?

mumto3girls · 14/03/2007 21:23

Yes, and the stuff was really nice, washes well and is good quality.

I buy quite a lot of stuff from them, (especially in the sales)

Tshirts washa nd wash and wash, and my linen trews are very nice and still going strong after 3 years (but I found sizing on the large size for the trews.)
tops are fine but sizing seems to be smaller.
I need someone to tell me which items I can get away with at my advancing age without looking mutton....

Hassled · 15/03/2007 10:38

Ditto, filthymindedvixen - I love the look of their stuff, but I am after all, a whopping 40 - is it aimed at teenagers and am I just in denial?

filthymindedvixen · 15/03/2007 10:41

I'm only 4 years behind you! Tell you what, tell me what you want to buy and I'll give you thumbs up or down, and you do the same for me

(it's hard, I have the figure of an 11 year old (skinny, no norks ), I am currently covered in more spots than I ever had as an 18 year old - but I have wrinkles!!

What about this? Could a 40 year old get away with it?

southeastastra · 15/03/2007 11:34

yes! i'm 37 and buy lots from there. sometimes they come up small so i buy a size larger (though i got a jacket in 16 that is a bit big!)
