Light moisturiser with spf for teenage girl

My 14 year old daughter is lucky to have pretty good skin but she is a redhead and very fair. She burned her face slightly sitting out at lunchtime on Monday and has been applying some of my moisturiser for its spf since - however it is too rich for her to use much. She is past the age when she would submit to a daily suncream application and probably doesn't need it except on the hottest days but i would like her to protect the part of her that is out most - her face.

Any recommendations? Not too greasy (or expensive Wink)

My dd always used Simple light moisturiser that has an spf

Cakescakescakes · 11/05/2017 11:06

Simple do one with spf 15 and one with spf 30. They're on 3 for 2 in boots at the minute.

This is probably more than you're willing to spend (about £42) but I find Estee Lauder Daywear SPF25 (oil-free) an excellent light moisturiser.

Thanks all. I went with simple 3 for 2 son

This is nice. Doesn't feel like sunscreen at all.

I hate wearing gloopy textureson my face - moisturiser, make up, any cream but this is pretty lightweight.

Ultrasun It's a bit pricey but it's a once per day job.

coldflange · 11/05/2017 20:31

There is an SPF50 too.

Specifically for the face - not as creamy as the body versions.

I like the daily Nivea face cream, it's a light cream with spf 15
