Does anyone have any suggestions where I could find something just like it but much shorter? For me, it needs to hit the knee. It also needs to be silk, no polyester nonsense.

Could you have it shortened? Lots of dry cleaners offer a fitting service.

Honestly no I wouldn't. Perhaps if I knew someone who is very skilled and I could trust to do a professional job without charging me a ridiculous amount I would. I often use dry cleaners to take trousers up but no, I wouldn't risk it with silk.
