Natural dye, from dark brown to dark blonde or blonde, is it possible?

Being naturally a brunette, I have had highlights or I coloured my hair. I would like to use natural dyes but I doubt it would work. Any ideas?
Don't tell me to go back to brunette, I don't want to ;)

No because you will need to strip colour out to get a lighter colour
