I saw this dress today and absolutely fell in love with it, it's for a black tie event for DH work next week, I need it in a size 14 but it's hardly available anywhere and if it is then only in tiny sizes, I'm going to have to give up aren't I?

As an extra measure, I got an email from Hobbs asking if I had good or bad service from my contact with them, I said bad because the guy was really rude at the Covent Garden store when I called, and now they've been very apologetic so I also have not one but two reserved at the Hobbs warehouse in case for any reason the JL one doesn't work out 😂

Shame they just didn't reserve one & send at the weekend when you first asked rather than all this faff

Indeed. But now it feels like a real victory that I've tracked it down even if I have spent about 15 hours doing so it had better bloody fit and look amazing!!
