OK OK OK I know I know all my own fault.

Spray fake tan. No tanning mitt where it usually lives (thanks DD) half sprayed decided to carry on regardless and wing it with a towel to rub the tan in.

It didn't go well Grin

My legs are, to say the least, patchy. I appear to have missed half my stomach and under my arms. But the soles of my feet are tanned (WTF?)

Oh and I did my face too. Which is a bad idea. Learn from me Grin

Just been to tesco and bought a mitt. And a wash off tan.

Should I put it on or not?

I'd put the instant tan on.

ememem84 · 06/05/2017 09:16

Yep put it on.

Did you scrub skin beforehand? If not shower and body scrub now. Before new tan.

ifeelcraptonight · 06/05/2017 09:18

No I didn't last night (I know I know was winging it) have showered and scrubbed this morning though (because I look like a patchy oompa loompa)

It has almost worked. Most is evened out - going to wait a bit and have another go.

The wash off stuff is great by the way.

Ah, my specialist subject Grin.

Do you have any whitening toothpaste? Baby oil? Try both and that should help to shift it.

The reason the soles of your feet are tanned is because when you sprayed the tan it went on the floor and you stood on it.

ifeelcraptonight · 06/05/2017 10:10

Yeah. I have learnt a hard lesson.

The spray would actually have been good I think if I had done it properly and not horsed on like a plonker.

How's your tan looking today?

TSSDNCOP · 07/05/2017 09:43

If you have any Liz Earle cloths they're great for getting fake tan off.

ifeelcraptonight · 07/05/2017 09:51

The wash off instant tan has rubbed off a bit all over boyfriendy person's super nice pure cotton white sheets and duvet cover oops and I am going to hit the shower and then put the spray one on properly and hope for the best.
