Dress shoes- not sky-high but not nana???

I need some grey shoes for a family celebration. It's semi-formal & I'll have kids along so need to be able to move easily (younger boy has ASD & non-verbal)

All shoe brands seem to be either super high or shoes my Nana would have worn! Anyone know of a brand that sits in the middle somewhere?

So far my options are these - I wear this brand a lot but these are expensive for a shoe i mightn't wear often

Otherwise I have seen a good few grey wedge shoes. I'm not crazy about wedges- find them a bit clumpy. More about me & my gait than anything else!

Can anyone recommend a brand that are wearable, reasonably good quality and a bit more inspiring?

Clarks are generally comfortable. These?

What about something in this colour rather than grey to match the embroidery on skirt? Dark pink would go too. Though I think they might look better with an open toe. Is itvdefinitely a closed toe court style that you want?

Hi! Thanks for answering. Wouldn't mind open toe, but not sandals.

I bought a pink silky cami to go under, not sure if I could add in another colour?

Like those Clarks shoes

If you're really going to wear just for this event, Debenhams do decent value faux suede.

OP, if you're wearing a pink cami I agree that another colour on your feet wouldn't look right.

Seconding the Clarks Isadora Faye in grey suede. They're my work shoes at the minute and are very comfy but definitely not 'nana'!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to pop into Clarke's tomorrow
