What to wear to a wedding with this dress?

I have a dress from Monsoon to wear to a wedding at the end of the month - this style but this fabric . What do I wear with it? Don't really want to spend too much as it's unlikely I'll wear it too often. It's a catholic church wedding if that makes a difference? TIA for any advice!

Do you have a wrap?

Hats are not 'in' at the mo. But facinators are. Black accesarys??

I'd guess you'll need to cover up your shoulders (plus, it could be chilly). Do you have any smart jackets? Or maybe an elegant cardigan? (or is that an oxymoron?)

A black wrap / shawl thing?

Or a little cropped back jacket with 3/4 slvs for the church / any outdoor stuff?

So a wrap would be suitable? Wasn't sure if it would be a bit casual but don't really want the expense of a jacket I'll probably only wear twice!

JackieNo - I have nothing remotely smart or elegant in my wardrobe I'm afraid

I still think a wrap might be a bit chilly - how about a cardigan like this , or this ?

This is pretty too ?

Or this maybe a bit smarter (it seems to have lapels, but the pic's dreadful, so you can hardly see them).

I think a wrap would be fine. I was at a wedding 2 weeks ago and only had a wrap. (as did loads of other people) Most women had dresses and wraps. A few cardigans. But from memory no jackets/suits.

Also weather is not that cold at the moment and your not actually outside for that long at a wedding......

oooh I like a couple of those cardigans, would get more wear out of those as well. Thanks for the suggestions ladies!
