Dressing for TV - who gets it right?

So I've got a small part on camera - think Time Team stuff, and as a lumpy, 40 something I'm struggling. Nothing fits, the shop mirrors are cruel, etc. etc.

So, who gets it right, who always looks good. At the moment I'm struggling to find inspiration.

It's Emma Willis for me, I love her style! I'd love her wardrobe, and face, and figure! 😂

Wipsglitter I didn't know about Fiona Bruce's foot, her trainers just really stood out! I think outdoors wise Julia Bradbury looks good, I like anyone in a nice coat with an interesting collar, too

Thank you everyone, especially CurlsLDN, for your calm responses. I was getting a bit lost here, looking through the wardrobe, DH giving non committal grunts.

I would not have thought to look at Joules but that was a good call, I'm going to try and get to a shop. Mel & Sue really seemed to nail it on bake-off will be channelling them but with more a NIgella figure.

It was interesting, and actually a bit sad, how many of these amazing experts and presenters also have the 'lads mags' pouty photos. It's clearly a weird life. I'm more in the Mary Berry & Beard camp. Used to love a bit of Toast when the sales were good!

On my wish list is: some decent colour block tops, semi fitted not too formal jacket, trousers that fit (not too skinny) along with boots. Looks a bit more manageable written down like that.

Would a horizontal 10mm wide stripe top work?

Any more inspiration out there?

Carol Kirkwood does a lot of outside broadcasts in all weathers (obviously!) and always looks good. Block colour and clean, fitted shapes.
