Best hair straighteners for damaged hair?!

My dd has ruined her lovely long hair by straightening it, and while she knows that the best thing to do is to embrace the curls, it's never going to happen!
So, any suggestions? She has just got some of the Phillip Kingsley products recommended on here but I think she also needs to get the best possible straighteners for her hair too.

Anyone? Hoping to go and buy some today if possible!

Whatever the marketing says, none will protect her hair. She's ironing it ffs! Best thing you can do it get a 'protecting' spray and then a serious conditioning masque for damages hair. Maybe encourage a top knot or whatever's in fashion at that age for a few days a week so that she's not straightening it so often. Or some dry shampoo so she's not washing and therefore straightening it so often. She'll have to learn the hard way

All straighteners slowly kill hair

I roll up my wavy hair in a clip (a bit like a giant roller when my wavy hair is almost dry. It (almost) straightens it. Without heat! Just leave in for a few hours.

You could also use a couple of giant rollers.

I am 45 and if I'd straighten my hair with heat every day it would be like straw.

The sad thing is I've been straightening my hair for over 30 years (anyone else remember those hideous babyliss crimped/straighter combos?!) and my hair is long, shiny and in good condition 😒 She always uses a heat protector but any recommendations for exceptionally good ones would be appreciated.
I wish I could swap hair with her, I'm 45 and would just chop it short but she's 16 and desperate to have lovely hair, she's really quite down about it.
