How do you know which shade of Dior lip glow you need?

I notice there are 3 shades... how do you know which is best or am I going to have to find a counter? The description sounds exactly for me. I have pale skin and dark brown hair, my lips are quite pale too if that helps?

I was looking at this too. Just go for original or not??

Purplerainbow · 30/04/2017 20:52

Coral, lilac or original.. yeah original sounds better!! Anyone advise?

I have lilac and original.
There's hardly any difference between those two apart from lilac being a bit bluer/cooler.
If i were to buy again I'd go original....I have similar colouring now.

I found the coral too orangey for me.

I've had coral and original. coral wasn't for me, I felt it made my teeth look yellow. I refer a pinky natural colour and think original is perfect for that.

Thanks both. Do you think it's worth the money. I can not find a lipstick I like despite visiting the counters. So I mostly wear lip balm. How long roughly does it last on?

Watching this with interest. Considering purchasing myself.

Looks good doesn't it ledaP? All the reviews on Debenhams are positive!

It was my birthday last week and have sime cash to splash. It really does look great. I usually wear lip balm too. Lipstick doesn't stay on me either Grin

Purplerainbow · 04/05/2017 13:19

ledap I went to a door counter today and tried the original and berry.they were nice and definitely changed colour etc felt nice... but I couldn't justify that money on a lip balm Grin mainly because I had already forked out £100 on other make up Blush . I might go back and get it though. I had to actually rub it off with make up remover so it slightly stains the lips too.

Ohhh. I bottled it too Grin

If it did change the colour i might try it. Nipping to the shopping centre next to office to get cake....will try and nip into debenhams while i am there.

Purplerainbow · 04/05/2017 14:26

It felt nice and I would've bought it had I not have bought new mascara, new lipstick and lip liner!!! It did stain my lips enough to need make up remover. I think I will go back and get it maybe next week.

These go far too dark on me, shame because I love the before colour in the tube

chartreuse · 04/05/2017 17:31

I have been buying the original one for years ( mostly because I love the packaging)

Dd recently bought a dupe from Catrice which cost less than a fiver, and hand on heart, it is nicer than the Dior. The colour is a slightly deeper rose pinkness and it lasts longer.

BringMeTea · 04/05/2017 17:38

I have both original and coral. Original is best and I like coral lippies. It was just too much whereas the original seems to work magic. Lovely texture.

Jaimx86 · 04/05/2017 17:41

I have lilac and the original. Like pervious posters, I prefer the original. It adds a subtle touch of colour and dewiness. The lilac is fine for the evening, and I anticipate that I'll use it in the day time with a tan.

If you like the original, I've found this one colour enhancing lip balm by Arrow to be a cheaper option. I'm 95% sure (made up statistic!) that it's the same product in different packaging. It looks exactly the same on my lips and is £13 cheaper.

I keep an Arrow one in my work bag and coat pocket for regular use, and take out the Dior one in the evening.
