Affordable perfumes?

I seem to always go for pricey scents Blush Which means I can only buy one bottle and have to wear it constantly

I loved when Marc Jacobs did the large Splash eau de toilette bottles, something a bit different and great value.

My last two scents were: Balenciaga Paris eau de parfum and philosykos by diptyque.

Any recommendations for some interesting affordable perfumes/toilettes please?

Try M&s I'm really fussy
Don't like sweet florals, heavy scents, rose, vanilla
Prefer aquatic, fresh, fruity but overly
They have one which is sea salt and bergamot- really nice

Think you can still get MJ splashes try JL or Debenhams

M&S Island Escape is a really nice summer scent
You can find some great bargains on allbeauty.com

I have just opened a bottle of M & S Island Escape and it is a lovely summer perfume.

M and s have a lot of good Italian citrus perfumes that are light and good for daytime.
They also smell exactly like my guerlain perfumes.

Suddenly woman 1 from Lidl is exactly like Chanel No 5.

Now I don't much care for either but they are indistinguishable to my friend who wears both.

Yardley Jade is lovely!

So glad you liked it WeeM, that's made my day, thank you!

Primark Rose Explosion and Next Eau Nude. Some really good reductions on posh fragrances in TK Max and TK Max online. It's always the cheap ones I get compliments on!

I second the Fragonard range at M&S absolutely gorgeous scents. Also do beautiful soaps that make great presents

If anyone is going to order something from the Hogies Online site that's been linked to here's a little tip for 10% off (which I discovered when I briefly had second thoughts about buying some of the perfume mentioned on this thread)

Put the items in your basket, click Checkout with Paypal which takes you to the Paypal pop up which you confirm then a Hogies page appears to put your name and address etc in - if you then close the page a box popped up with an "Are you sure?" message and a code for 10% off.

Definitely seconding the Next perfumes. I wear Just Pink or Eau Nude for the day time and then Cashmere for the evening. In fact, I wore Cashmere at a 'do' and the weekend, and several people commented how lovely it was, including my friend's v. trendy DD and DiL. I was quite chuffed Smile

I also like Clarins Eau Dynamisante which isn't that pricey.

River Island Craze is lovely. It smells of chocolate, heady white flowers with a bit of musk/sandalwood thrown in.
It's like a nicer version of Thierry Mugler's Angel. I'm not keen on Angel but Craze is lovely. I've nicked my daughter's & she hasn't noticed yet. Blush

I'm a m & s Island Escape fan too. Always get asked what I'm wearing. £16 a bottle and 8.50 for a handbag size. It's the sea salt and bergamot one I think a pp mentioned. 20% off til Monday too with a sparks card.
