Denim jackets

I've just "found" a demin jacket I used to wear about 4 or 5 years ago and I'm tempted to keep it out for spring. It's a short one, waist length, a bit like this

Or is that just really boring? I'm wary because everyone wore them a few years ago and in theory that means I'll look very dated. I'm kinda thinking over a long top and trousers?

NB I haven't been out much in the last 5 years so be gentle with me....

ooh I did a thread like this about a little black cord jacket which was the same shape a few weeks ago

people wanted to know the shape of my bottom

I don't know if they are still okay to wear or not but I definitely don't feel confident about my bum as a result

Errrmm!!!!!??? Oh dear!

Well, I guess I'm about a size 12 and 5ft6 and I don't think my bottom's enormous (well I don't think so anyway) And it'll be all covered up by any long top I wear.

Back in those days it was all cropped tops (eugh, never liked them).

I think denim jackets are nice aslong as you don't wear them with denim jeans or skirts. You'll look like a cowboy.

So that rules out the skinny jeans tucked into boots then.

With a big hat... and a checked shirt...

denim jackets still wearable as long as your top half is in proportion to your bottom half and as long as you don't wear denim with denim
