Short waist, long legs - where to buy trousers?

Does anyone have this body shape? I am very, very short waisted, but legs are 33" - kind of in between long length (too short) and extra long (too long). Then my waist is nonexistent. There is less than an inch between the bottom of my rib cage and my hips. My sisters call me the cream puff on toothpicks.
If you have this leg length (with or without the short-waisted problem) where do you buy trousers?

Their "long" length (online only) is actually properly long

I'm also very short waisted with a 33" inseam - I find the waist is too long on "tall" sizing. I also agree with the Gap recommendation but I tend to let down the hem allowance on standard sizes.

J. Crew is also OK for me, but much more expensive.
