Does this mean my hairdresser is a bit pants?

I had my hair coloured on Saturday. It was meant to be a balayage type of colour but it turned out there was barely any contrast between the colours she put in so my hair looks mostly the same colour all over. However she did seem to notice it hadn't turned out as she expected and I'm going back tonight to get it fixed. It's just made me doubt her ability a bit tbh. It's not a fancy salon (around £70 for highlights and cut/blow dry as example of costs). Or should I give her the benefit of the doubt?

Not necessarily, your hairdresser might have not wanted to damage your hair so used a lower % of bleach. Atleast your hairdresser owned up to it and offered to fix it, 90% of the hairdressers I've been to wouldn't have.

She's fixed it! Looking much better.
