Men's jumpers genius idea

I am constantly searching for decent fine knit ( I have boobs so can't do chunky) jumpers in the shops. I went shopping the other week and couldn't find anything remotely normal/ plain - all weird flouncy crap.

Was a bit chilly and grabbed dh's jumper off the bannister. A grey crew neck fine knit jumper, of which he has about a million.
Low and behold it fit me really nicely and was exactly the sort of thing I have been looking for.
This is an untapped source! Does anyone else buy men's jumpers? I am sick of being over charged and sold crap just because it's women's wear.

It does drive me mad that M&S do loads of merino jumpers for men but none for women. It's cashmere or acrylic. Why?

Socks are the same. I buy Their mens plain black merino but I have size 8 feet. No such thing for women.

I am an ardent shopper in the men's jumpers section! Helps that in the autumn I always start feeling a bit more butch, but they're also super easy to dress up and make super feminine.

Doesn't work for me as a pear. Shoulders are miles too big if they fit round the hip

This. I've tried a few t-shirts and jumpers but donated them to DP after a quick try-on. The shape is the opposite of mine.

No way could I wear men's jeans - I have 27 waist and 37 hips.

I DO have a gorgeous dressing gown from men's Boden, in dark blue herringbone brushed cotton with dark blue fleece lining. The women's equivalents were all pastelly with cutesy prints Envy. It's fine, although the waist tie is a little low on me.

I buy men's jumpers, slim-fit tshirts and pj bottoms. The fabric is always better, and as PPs have said, during the day I don't wear clothes with cutesy logos or teddy bears or penguins in nightcaps all over them so why the fuck would I want to at bedtime? I don't suddenly regress to a 6-year-old at 10pm.
