Please help me understand fabrics!

I suffer from being hot pretty much all the time. Summer is a pain in the arse in an office, especially whilst trying to look professional and not like a sweaty mess.

I know cotton is the nicest and coolest. Polyester is a no go. But what about rayon or viscose? Or silk? Do they breathe? Are there other fabrics I haven't thought of?

I need to buy some new work clothes, can anyone please advise me what I should be erring towards?!

Can't remember, I'm afraid. Somewhere online. I was looking for silk pillowcases at the time.

My OH wears bamboo socks as his feet sweat ridiculously..but yes it is woven with viscose. I recently tried to buy some bamboo socks in a outdoors shop and they guy was very down on the fabric...sad it was baaadd mannn. .

But yea...I found bamboo sheets online quite easily also while looking for something silk. I think Amazon have them as well

OldRaver did he say why it was baaad. I love my bamboo socks. I'd be v sad to have to give them up.
