I need help with my hair style

Currently I'm 34 weeks pg with DT's plus having 1 DD now 20 months. I don't really have time to do my hair as it is and I have a phobia about going to the hair dressers as they always ask me how I want it cut and TBH I haven't got a clue.
My hair is naturally wavy and it looks terrible like that so I straighten it, well I used to I haven't worn it down since the birth of my DD.

It is such a terrible state at the moment long and no shape to it.
I need something that is easy to maintain, long enough to tie back but maybe on the odd occasion wear down.

this

That was my hair 3 years ago. Most recent picture I have with it down.
It isn't black anymore and it is longer and has no shape to it what so ever.

Any help advice or possible picture of style that would work for a busy mum with 3 under 2 would be greatly appreiciated.

i like it!

I like it too. When I read your post, I thought it sounded just like me. But your hair is a miliion times nicer than mine! I was hoping for a miracle cure for mine, but yours really doesnt need one. It cant have changed that much in 3 yrs, apart from the colour?

Go for one of those inverted bob cuts like Victoria Beckham.

I keep going on about it atm but I had mine done at the end of jan and then went back on Friday for a trim and got her to do it a bit more choppy.
My hair is naturally curly and was quite long but with 2 kids it was just a real PITA to bugger about with and took forever to look half decent.
Honestly its the best hair cut I've ever had. I hardly have to use the straightners on it now and all I have to do is brush it to leave the house!

I'd post a pic to show you but I look a sight today

FrannyandZooey · 11/03/2007 15:35

You nosey lotshame on you I didn't realise you could do that luck there were no dodgy pictures on there!
That bump with the foot isn't me I found the picture on MN I sent it to my sister to freak her out.

Anyway, that picture was with my hair straightned which I just won't have time for once the Dt's are born, I keep forgetting to brush it now which is bad enough.
I need something that will work for naturally wavy, slightly frizzy hair, that won't look like crap when I haven't had time to do anything with it.

Littlelapin- that is a great hair style but a bit too much work to keep it looking like that.
