Grey nail polish...help!

Need recommendations for an amazing grey nail polish please. One that doesn't have any blue or purple undertones, preferably. Like a proper grey. All the ones I've tried just don't hit the spot. They look too mauve-y.

Any suggestions? TIA.

You need Smith & Cult. Definitely. It's ££ though.

I was going to say Rimmel Grey Matter or Rain Rain, but hugoagogo beat me to it. Has Grey Matter been discontinued?😢

I've got a matte grey from Primark which is great, and also a gel effect grey from New Look which has great coverage. I love grey nail varnish.

If you're near an Other Stories store they do a good grey.

I have the Rain Rain one and I've crossed it off the list unfortunately. It doesn't work on me. I think I need to avoid dark greys and maybe find a more pinky one? Sigh.

I've just bought Smith & Cult Subnormal - it comes out a proper grey on me. I've had similar problems to you, buy colours thinking they are grey and they end up either mushroom or pale blue. Space NK stock it.

Excuse the chips - it needs redoing!

I have Mavala New york, which is a lovely grey, with no blue or purple tones

One of my shellac favourites is asphalt topped with negligee.

Mavala has a few grey shades

Minsk is my current fav

Soigne does some beautiful greys.

I bought 'My Grey' by Rimmel today on impulse in Boots and I'm quite pleased with it. Not my prefect grey - the search for that continues - but out of all the greys I've tried, it might be one of the better ones.

You need Barry M Speedy (has chequered flag bottle top) range there's a plain light grey which is just grey nothing else, quite light, don't know name of it though.
