How to hide the 'corned beef' look on legs in summer?!

My legs are my best feature but I never get them out in the summer because I hate the pasty/corned beef look of my skin!
I've tried so many different fake tans but no matter how much prep I do (exfoliation, moisturiser etc) I always end up with streaks or darker patches.
So I'm thinking of alternatives - wash off fake tan?
Or very low denier, tan coloured tights (is this a real no no?)
Any advice?

Unless I go abroad my arms are always really tanned but legs white, I also recommend Sally Hansen leg make up

I love St tropez gradual tan - but there is a smell however it is really good.
Last year I had great results with body brushing regularly / am starting again now. It really improves the appearance of lumpy bumpy skin.
I did get caught out unprepared last year with no build up of tan - so tried this which is hugely popular here, and I have to say it was really really good, better than Sally Hansen (which I just can't get on with - makes my legs look like I m wearing old lady tights !)

I like vitaliberata gradual moisturiser fake tan, it's a good colour but like a pp I have my legs out already. I am down sarf though so it is quite mild.

I get those dots too. The only thing that works for me is the Cocoa Brown range. I use the exfoliator, moisturiser and 1 hour tan. Haven't had a streak yet.

This Works Perfect Legs is a gamechanger for me - cannot recommend it highly enough

St Tropez gradual tan in light medium gives a light colour with one application. There is a light smell whilst developing but not too bad. If is nice & moisturising.

On bare legs, apply a strip of highlighter down the length of your shin bone and blend in. It helps distract the eye away from anything else and also makes your legs look longer/slimmer.
