been ages since I bought some new jeans. Mine are looking a bit worse for wear now though. I had some money for my birthday so I need some nice jeans. I've always tended to stick to bog standard bootcut. Much as I like the look of them, I think my bum is too big for the skinny jeans though. Is it still the in thing to wear boots over them or has that passed?? lol. I don't want to spend a fortune on them as I just don't have the finances! Any recommendations? I don't like the really dark blues either. Thanks.

Gap Long and Lean are always worth a bash but are not exactly budget.
Dark blue is much more flattering than stonewash / light blue so don't set yourself dead against it till you've tried it.

I just love TK Maxx for jeans but it takes a long time... I think its good because they have so many different styles... in fact every sort of style imaginable but you have to spend hours trying them all on until you find a style to suit you,

I have picked up designer jeans, retail price £130 for £30 and in fact my wardrobe is now full of jeans... mind you, I have lost a lot of weight and couldn't wear jeans before cos they made me look like a trucker , but am making up for it now! In fact I think I have a bit of a jeans fetish...

I went to a Gap Outlet store a couple of days ago and got a pair of their skinny jeans.
They fit perfetc and were only £25.
I asked there, and apparently all their stuff comes from the US so its not in an outlet shop because its factory seconds. Just stuff that isnt normally sold here.
