Where are all the long tops? Am I the only human alive who wears them?

I just want some long (bum covering), light, pretty tee-shirts/tops/tunics (but not proper tunic-et tunics if you now what I mean).

Do these not exist?

I don't want a shirt.
I don't want a blouse.
I don't want a vet or cami.
I don't want a short top that cuts off at my muffin top.

Just a nice, long top I can wear with skinny jeans.

Anyone have any ideas of where to find one? Eternally grateful if so!

Boohoo have loads. I got lost in a online shopping maze last night Grin just select tops then filter t shirts
Try asos tall as well

Vegansnake · 10/04/2017 17:33

I buy men's plain teshirts, usually black.but I find them a lot longer than women's and they don't seem to shrink in the wash.im 5"10 and they cover my bum..peacocks I particularly like..

LapCatLicker · 10/04/2017 17:34

Seasalt www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/women/clothing/dresses-and-tunics
I have one of the striped ones. Love it.

Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 17:34

Oh I forgot. On boohoo if you pick the top then click details it gives the actual top length and the height of the model too
(I'm 5ft 10 and tops are the bane of my life!)
Long tall Sally and tall girls are good places as well

Jokat · 10/04/2017 17:37

I get bubble hem tops from Asda which are always quite long and my friend buys tunic style gorgeous tops from Boden that are a good nice length (without being too tunic-y Wink)

hrfvenia · 10/04/2017 17:44

I got some really nice long tops from primark. They are lovely and soft and thin too so not too hot/sweaty.

Lots of different colours and styles all in one area so no trudging round fighting off the hordes!

Mmmmcakes · 10/04/2017 18:38

Boohoo. Amazing for basic long tees. I wear them all the time with jeans. X

PotteringAlong · 10/04/2017 18:39

Primark!

FurryElephant · 10/04/2017 18:41

Asos usually have good ones!

VintagePerfumista · 10/04/2017 18:59

I have been wondering the same OP. A post menopausal belly and 5ft 10 means that length is everything!

Off to this boohoo place!

HonorBright · 10/04/2017 20:09

I find Uniqlo long in the body, and I second the recommendation for ASOS tall.

itsmeitskathee · 10/04/2017 20:54

Joules! I got a few tops there last week which skim my muffin top beautifully. I thought Joules was all striped jersey but was really surprised.

muttrat · 10/04/2017 20:56

Next longline vests THEY ARE A REVELATION

Wear under any existing top. Gives you a nice layered look plus covers bum and muffin

muttrat · 10/04/2017 20:57

Uniqlo is awful.

I bought two tops from there and they are short and horrible.

I am 5.9 with a long body

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2017 21:05

Bam Clothing I have just bought 4 of these in different colours/sleeve lengths. I have a very long torso and am far too old and flabby to expose my midriff every time I move. They are fab. Pricey, but great quality.

Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 21:38

Bike - how's the sizing? They're gorgeous tops

LittleGreyMeow · 10/04/2017 21:40

Long tall sally is the best I find for long tops :)

I'm nearly 6ft though, not sure how tall you are and everything comes up short on me and I don't want mid-drift on show.

They detail measurements and lots of different lengths.

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2017 21:40

They are a bit on the generous size. I'm a booby (34f) 14 and ordered 14. They are nicely unclingy-but-fitted on me.

LittleGreyMeow · 10/04/2017 21:41

Meant to add that they look great bike!

Beedoo123 · 10/04/2017 21:43

Primary have some longline shirts... I've brought a few to layer/hide bum

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2017 21:45

I've just realised that "very long torso" is not a very useful term fur people who don't know me. I'm 5'8", but my back is the length to be expected for the average 6'er. Some years ago I got a custom built bike frame, and the framebuilder was very confused about how he was going to make it work.

Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 21:46

Fab, I'm quite busty and now eyeing them up! (Tops, not boobs) Wink

sherrifffatman · 10/04/2017 21:51

Mantaray at Debenhams usually have some nice long tops.

bananafish81 · 10/04/2017 23:13

I've got some lovely plain stretchy basic tops from hush and gap
