I like that...

fryalot · 08/03/2007 21:59

If you are nice and slim and trim, that is gorgeous.

Not sure I like it if you have lumps and bumps iykwim.

Yurtgirl · 08/03/2007 22:00

On me it would make my tummy look even more enormous than normal!!!

Blondilocks · 08/03/2007 22:12

I like it, but whether I like it on will be another matter!

Hopefully they will have it in my local store (had vouchers for my bday so it's a fab excuse to buy something nice!)

You would prob have to wear something under it as well cos it would display your boobs nicely!!

Are you very thin and beautiful??

paulaplumpbottom · 08/03/2007 22:41

Very nice

RosaLuxembourg · 08/03/2007 22:42

Would look utterly hideous on me but I can see it would work well on someone tall, blonde and slim. Judging from your username you are at least one of those.

hillary · 08/03/2007 22:45

Nice but wouldn't suit me, you have to have the right figure which you probably have

crystalpony · 08/03/2007 22:47

Depends on the occasion you want it for.it's nice enough but a bit...bland?

PeachesMcLean · 08/03/2007 23:05

I liked it for just day to day stuff, with jeans and some nice beads. is that the wrong occasion blondilocks?

twinsetandpearls · 08/03/2007 23:11

I couldn't wear it but if I could it would be over jeans.

Gobbledigook · 09/03/2007 13:04

Nice dress but not sure about the colour. If it was a deeper pink it would be nicer.

pesme · 09/03/2007 13:06

anything called 'baby doll' makes me shudder but it is actually quite nice. might pop in myself.

Lucy1977 · 09/03/2007 19:56

Oh I love that.

What colour beads would go? Would you wear it with dark blue jeans? If so I also might pop along tomorrow.

Lucy

PestoMonster · 09/03/2007 20:00

I think it's very Kate Moss iykwim

DeviousDaffodil · 09/03/2007 20:02

Not good if you have big norks, or hips for that matter.
Would wear it if i was slim and ten years younger.

Blondilocks · 09/03/2007 20:39

Sorry for disappearing for so long.

Want it for something a bit different to wear ... aiming at -casual really, but possibly to dress up a bit for an evening with friends, say at the pub or their house. Have lots of vesty tops that I could wear under it.

Was thinking just very black tights & boots, but can't really tell how long it'll be on so may change my mind on that!

I love purple so would probably wear purple jewellery with it. Have a long purple necklace which would look good I think.

I wouldn't say I'm skinny .. normally a 10-12 with small boobs so should be ok I hope!

It's nice to hear that it would be ok for day to day wear - don't wear dresses very often so I think it'd make a nice change. Only really own formal dresses.

I got it today :D It looked ok. My friends said that I should wear it with leggings & ballet shoe things, but tried leggings and took an instant dislike to what I looked like in them, so it's skinny black trousers or thick tights for me! Ballet shoe things didn't seem to fit anywhere & were a bit too flat.....

Also it's pretty low cut so got a cute lace-trimmed vest thing to wear underneath.

But am pleased with it :D First time I've bought anything in Topshop.
