Does anyone home dye their hair? Want to do the ombre style

I have not dyed my hair for over 7 years but feel i need to perk myself up as its my 30th in 2 weeks.
I have dark blonde hair and i love the ombre style where it gets lighter towards the bottom but im panicking that if i get it done professionally i will be tied into spending £50+ every month on my hair which i cannot afford to do.
Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to do it themselves or should i just give up on that idea and get it done at a salon.
Thanks

Get tips from you tube videos. It helps to back comb your hair where you want the blonde to go to.

I would definitely get that done professionally tbh. The good thing with hombre type jobs is that you don't have expensive upkeep isn't it? None of the problems with roots that you would have if it was a full head colour.

Ombré is a more blocky style, I think it's balayage that you're thinking of.
I think, unless you're incredibly skilled that's it's definitely a professional job.
I get a free hand balayage done, some times every 8 weeks but sometimes 4 months goes between appointments. They beauty of it is that there's not regrowth line, if it's done well, so you don't need to constantly be at the hairdressers.

You'll be looking at over £100 a go for ombré/balayage though as it's a very time consuming method as it's a full head colour.

Its true as im only having the mid- bottom dyes it shouldnt end up being too expensive. Its just my hair gets so neglected i would worry that i wouldnt be able to deal with the upkeep

There are kits you can get to do it! www.loreal-paris.co.uk/products/hair-colour/highlights-dip-dye?gclid=Cj0KEQjwzpfHBRC1iIaL78Ol-eIBEiQAdZPVKiKOKxDwf2ARRa8Lax66CHu1N8exHyYn63S8x5GRZqsaAo7E8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CNyAl7_qkNMCFXYg0wodJqMAIw

I've only got my hair dyed at the hairdressers a few times and it came out a bit dull, I get better colour from doing it myself. I've dyed my hair for about 7years now but if you haven't really done it yourself before maybe go to the hairdresser Smile

My hairs similar to that. I back comb where I want it to blend then apply with a brush over, then I take the brush and little flicks above the back combed bit. Hard to explain. If you watch a you tube video of balayange it would help.
