So how come everytime I see a dress I love in a magazine

It is by Issa and costs £400+. Who are these people and why are they messing with my head like this. I love this one and this one

Please, oh stylish ones, help me to be happy with my Top Shop budget by pointing me in the direction of some nice cheap dresses.

well whistles is more like 150 for a dress and that sort of thing - is that any better? i got a lovely one in the sale for 40

buy magazines with cheaper fashion spreads? - Glamour is good for this.

Kew and Dorothy Perkins both have good dresses - also Principles as mentioned below.

I have two really nice Principles dresses Danceswithaspringinherstep - I absolutely love them. I would wear a dress every day if I could, but living in a small town in the West Country nice ones are not always easy to find. The nicest shop we've got is Monsoon. Worryingly DD3 who has just started reception said to me last night 'Mummy I can spell Monsoon - and she could .
