Hi,

does anyone know when the next Sainsbury's 25% off Tu clothing is? could it be this coming week?

Thanks :)

Ordered these to try for holiday/summer. Though I imagine I'll only keep the black embroidered one (if it's fits) as not sure I'll get a lot of wear out of the others.

This is also fab!

I'm a total convert to Tu jeans - I bought a pair of skinny jeans in desperation the other day (was away for weekend and not any time to shop elsewhere), not expecting them to be up to much...and they are amazing! So, I've tried the girlfriend jeans too and they are also fab - I've just ordered a couple of extra pairs as they're only £12!?!

Deux · 11/04/2017 22:34

I bought some denim Bermuda shorts today. Not tried them on yet.

I bought the black compartment bag before the sale and it's been fab. Was only £16.

I'm going to have a good browse on line tomorrow.

Generally, how does everyone find the sizing? I was looking at a top today and thought the 12 looked really small and the 14 really big in comparison. I'm somewhere between a 10 and 12.

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 11/04/2017 22:47

The sizes are usually massive Deux - I've put on weight recently and am up to a hefty 14, but did an online order earlier and went for 10s in most things. Trousers are maybe one size too big, but stretchy stuff is huge.

Deux · 11/04/2017 22:50

Down, thanks. I think I'll probably order 2 sizes and then return.

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 11/04/2017 22:57

I think the waists are quite big in particular - there isn't much definition between there and the hips. The jeans/jeggings do last really well but go a bit baggy.

HalfCarrot · 12/04/2017 07:53

Wish they did maternity.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/04/2017 08:47

If you wash jeans with vinegar instead of fabric softener they don't go baggy ime. It doesn't degrade the elastane.

I love the premium jeggings, well worth the money.

They're doing a tweed biker jacket that's lovely too but I can't afford it.

explodingkittens · 12/04/2017 17:14

I'm another total convert to Tu jeans. The straight leg jeans take about half a stone off me and they are so comfy. They're a revelation - I bloody love them.

I was agonising about 'investing' £120 in a pair of Diesel jeans this morning and thought, sod it, I'm going to Sainburys instead and getting a perfectly-fitting pair for a tenth of the price Grin

Oldraver · 12/04/2017 17:32

I do like their stuff and the jeans /leggings are fab but...

I've tried a few things on yesterday and last year and the cut on the arms is very off making them very tight across the top. I thought it was my bingo wings but looking at the shape (my trade is sewing) its very badly cut.

Last year I bought a dress and took it back twice (no changing room at the store I was at) and ended up with a 20 that was massive all over but still tight at th arms

kneesupfatty · 12/04/2017 17:52

The plain ladies t-shirts are also excellent and only £3.50 at the mo! They're as good quality as any other t-shirt I've ever bought, are of a decent length and have a flattering neckline.

chanie44 · 14/04/2017 12:40

Aarrrrggghhhh, I keep buying stuff.

Yesterday, I bought the children some shorts and t shirts and today, it was swimwear.

DayGlo · 14/04/2017 12:43

I've only recently discovered Tu, as there isn't a big Sainsburys anywhere near me.

Bought a few tops online at 25% off this week, and I am so pleased with the quality!

buggerthebotox · 14/04/2017 12:56

Another fan of Tu skinnies here. I always get ones with belt loops though, as they are both big and prone to bagging but, at that price, who cares?

happypoobum · 14/04/2017 14:57

I also bought the denim bermudas - they're great! Also bought a short black stretchy skirt with a floral pattern on the front, and some black linen wide leg trousers which are fab

Am trying to lose weight so haven't bought much recently. It's great to be able to buy a few things that fit me now, but are inexpensive so if I finally do lose weight, I won't feel like it's such a waste.

I think the clothes are great vfm

Mothervulva · 14/04/2017 15:01

Another tu fan here. They've done some good cardis recently.

Halfcarrot I wore quite a few tu tops when pregnant. I just went up a size.

HalfCarrot · 15/04/2017 09:56

Mother thank you I'm fine for tops but I want over bump leggings, normal ones rub against my CS scar

Mothervulva · 15/04/2017 11:16

I wore Seraphine leggings. Went right over the bump!
