Best to minimise/get rid of BLACKHEADS

Hola!
I've always had lots of small blackheads on my nose, chin, whatever. Have tried expensive facials and cheap blackhead pulling face mask things but resigned myself to the fact they'll be there forever. Has anyone got a cleanser they would love to recommend me?? I've not been too bothered by them until my DS asked the other day "why do you have so many black dots on your nose?" 🙄 now I want rid!!

I've just started using Cosrx blackhead power liquid and Cosrx whitehead power liquid (both Korean brands from Amazon). It's early days but the blackheads that have lived on my nose for 25 years seem to be lessening and my skin feels so much softer and smoother.

These contain BHA and AHA so you'll need to wear a sunscreen every day if you start using them, because they make your skin more susceptible to sun damage.

I second what Eats says about Cosrx blackhead power liquid. It doesn't work overnight but with consistent use is really helpful. It's a BHA and the reason why BHAs are so effective for oily skin/blackheads/sebaceous filaments is because they're oil-soluble—so they can actually penetrate the pore to exfoliate.

Have a look at 'fifty shades of snail' website with a routine to clear your skin of blackheads- again doesn't work overnight but a good routine to do once a week and after a few months and using cosrx as recommended I'm sure you'll be much happier with your skin. As Eats said, SPF is a must when using acids/BHA.

Been using Paula's choice BHA skin perfecting liquid, as recommended on here. So far working well, obviously use sun screen daily too.

It's been brilliant.

Try castor oil, search on google (makes sense to me that this would work as the blackheads are hardened sebum, which is an oil, so another oil is what is needed to dissolve them - or a powerful detergent but maybe not for skin!)
Or a microdermabrasion face cloth.

Ooh thanks, given me a couple to think about that and look into. I guess the key is being consistent with any treatment which I struggle with as I'm super forgetful 🙄
