How do I keep my foundation on?!

I might be being a bit thick here but I need help! I love my foundation (it's the Bobbi Brown intensive skin serum if that helps) and usually I set it with an urban decay fixing spray (sorry can't remember the name of it) and it lasts while I'm at work even with the air con on all day but when I'm out and about I come home after a few hours and it's as if I haven't got any foundation on at all. I'm on my second bottle of it and I swear it lasted better on me last year.

My skin isn't particularly oily, and all the matte powders I've used just make me look cakey and I really don't like the matte look on me. I've tried googling loose powders but my issue is this, do they then 'override' the effects of the foundation? I love how the Bobbi Brown foundation leaves my skin looking dewy but I would love it to bloody stay on my face if I go in the sun! If it helps I'm also incredibly pale so this foundation is one of the rare ones that colour matches me perfectly which is why I love it so much! Do I need to apply it differently or use a better primer? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Strigoi - the mac fix + is the best. If you have dry skin then they have a charged water version (same thing, bit more moisturizing, and smells nicer). But yeah, fix plus really makes a difference
