Don't mind pressed or loose as long as it won't fall apart in my bag or require a separate tool to apply it. I've got dry skin that can only handle occasional use foundation (unless someone can recommend me one of those too?)

Have heard there's no point wearing foundation (when I do) without powder and my DS just knocked my ancient pot all over the carpet recently. Thanks for any advice.

the one i got from tesco own range is ridiculously good - black neat compact - just 'make up' written on it - translucent pressed powder - lasting ages too

i think it is good enough on its own or just with a bit of concealer

the almay one is good too and under 10 - they are in boots

as they last so long you could spend more - stila has really pretty ones and cost more like 20 but will last for 4 months or so
