What hangers do you have?

I've just done a wardrobe clear out and have gotten rid of all the plastic hangers you get when you buy stuff.

I now mostly have velvet hangers with a few wooden ones for jackets.

What do most people have??

I have pink and white wooden ones.
I work three days a week and like to sort out my outfits on Monday.
I hang them from a wall mounted rail on rather nice gold twisted metal hangers from Primark.

I keep some rounded plastic ones for hanging damp shirts to dry.

Plastic shop ones here, but I'm very fussy, I like the clip ones for jeans and very wide (large men's?) for shirts etc. I'm actually gutted when they break!

I'm in the process of chucking all plastic hangers in favour of grey velvet/flocked hangers, and they fit more in the wardrobe, and the clothes don't fall off them. I invested in 20 to begin with and see how I got on, I'll need to buy at lot more! Wooden ones for coats.

Our charity shops don't want hangers, end up putting them in the recycling bin, not sure if they want them or not.

I've also got the black velvet spacesaver ones and it's made an amazing difference to my wardrobe - it's so neat now. I never got round to buying the little clips for them though, to convert them to skirt hangers - so I've still got some freebie plastic skirt hangers in there. I also kept a couple of fat jacket hangers for my wool coats, as the velvet ones are not substantial enough. I couldn't get any of my local charity shops to take my old hangers. I got rid of some on Facebook and had to bin the rest.

I need to get rid of all my wooden hangars and replace with the slim flock ones. You can fit so many more clothes in that way plus things stay put much better!!
