Please, can anyone recommend maternity jeans...

for a pear-shaped size 12/14? Many thanks!

I got a fantastic pair from Blooming Marvellous. They had an navy elastic top but as long as that was covered with a long top they looked like a nice pair of boot cut jeans. They expanded with me, eventually going under the bump and they were so comfy. I wore them alot after DD was born too - until I lost weight.

I had a dreamy pair of jeans from a shop in Nottingham called Swells, the brand was 'Noppies'. They were dutch apparently and quite expensive (£55) but worth EVERY penny. I miss them even now! The lady in the shop told me that the Italian and French brand name jeans were built for, shall we say, the less curvy amongst us which is why I had trouble finding a pair as I'm also a pear!

have spent a small fortune so far:
1 pair citizens of humanity (great on arse, but elastic at top of band too tight - gives an attractive double bump)
1 pair earl (arse-flatteners, not a good look)
1 pair dotty p (not a great fit anywhere)
1 pair noppies (the most comfortable, but too flarey)

am still searching...

I also had a fab. pr. of Noppies from Swells. Now got pr. from Jojomamabebe - keep falling down, can't wear them, waste of money, driving me potty - but look good...still don't wear them though!

The one's from blooming marvelous are by far the best pair of maternity jeans i'v ever brought in all three of my pregnancy's!!
I still wear them now under long tops and were great after my c section.
