I need a second opinion

Are these tacky? Which colour would you pick? I have really wide feet (thanks kids) so am limited and these are the closest I can find to the style I like. They are for my wedding, but I want to be able to wear them afterwards.
MN always hates the shoes I post, so I'm ready for honest opinions Grin I'm ordering the sandals with the flowers too, but they are standard fit so will probably be too small. I'm having a lot of blues and greens in the wedding which points to the sage, but I feel the pink is a bit more romantic.

Thanks Ryan. I think you may have found the perfect shoes for me. Hope you find yours soon.

MamaHanji · 17/03/2017 13:51

I really like the green. But I like granny-chic or just plain old granny. But I think they are very pretty and would go amazing with that dress

Bibs2014 · 17/03/2017 13:56

Your dress is beautiful! Please do it justice and get some gorgeous shoes to go with it 😄

minusten · 17/03/2017 13:58

Hi op. Not sure what your budget is but I got my wedding shoes here www.sargassoshoes.com/shoe-category/sargasso-grey-collections/wedding-shoes/page/1/

I also have wide feet, but found the pair I got really comfy.

minusten · 17/03/2017 13:59

Also your dress is beautiful!!!

IHeartDodo · 17/03/2017 14:31

Your dress is lovely!
I'd second the nice flats idea for grass, or maybe wedge sandals?

LadyOfTheCanyon · 17/03/2017 15:01

Holy crap your dress is AMAZING.
Ditch the shoes. Get something comfortable, cream and inoffensive from a bridal shop. Have a great day. Job done. Congratulations!

Your dress is beautiful OP. When my sister got married last year, we both had Rachel Simpson shoes. We have wide feet but found them comfortable. They sometimes have a good sale on if your budget is a bit lower than their normal prices

youll I love the Hermione style, but it's £180 even with a good discount and I just don't think we can stretch to that.

youllneverknow · 18/03/2017 10:44

That's a shame. I know my sister originally said that, but once she'd tried them there was no going back! Mine were £60 in the sale which was a lot more justifiable Grin

youllneverknow · 18/03/2017 11:00

Just had a look at the eBay outlet and there's some good prices on there if any take your fancy?

RyanStartedTheFire · 18/03/2017 11:40

Haha yes my sister in law had the Mimosas and got them for a good price with a discount, but she said the same about not affording them in the beginning! She says she doesn't regret splurging though. I've now got a pair of DP shoes on order from wines list. Fingers crossed.

youllneverknow · 18/03/2017 11:57

Haha. Fingers crossed for the DP shoes then. You'll have to keep us updated. Shoes are always a nightmare for our wide feet, although it is getting better Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 18/03/2017 12:00

I like the shoes but dont think they would go with that beautiful wedding dress.
I think rickety crickets shoes would look stunning with that dress. I love them!

AndWhat · 18/03/2017 12:07

How about these?

Summer23 · 18/03/2017 12:25

Personally I'd go for a slimmer high heel with the dress, it is beautiful. Have you seen these

LockedOutOfMN · 18/03/2017 21:27

Great dress. I'd wear flats.

Doobigetta · 19/03/2017 11:14

You need delicate shoes with pointed toes and slender heels to go with that dress (which is beautiful).

thatwomanwho · 19/03/2017 11:35

I'm a bridesmaid later in the year and ordered some of those Asos shoes as I needed a new pair for the dress. I'd also like to be able to wear them again. When they turned up I honestly thought the plastic they were made out of looked so cheap Blush sorry to make things (maybe) more difficult.

These aren't too blocky, they have a closed toe and also an ankle strap.

These don't have an ankle strap but I like them Grin
