Benefit Lemonaid: is it really that good?

What does it do exactly? And does it suit all colours or only red faces? Is it meant to be used as an eye shadow or eye brightner, do you apply just on the eye lid or under the eye as well?
Sorry for so many questions, but I know there are some fans around and I'm looking for something that will cover the darkness of my under eyes and eye lids in a 'no make up' kind of look.

if you have shadowy lids its quite good, especially if you want to put bright OR pale eyeshadow on

like neutral eyeshadow or bright blues and green as opposed to browns etc

Have you got a counter nearby, a Debenhams or something, where you can try it?
It's a pale yellowy paste. I dab a bit on my eyelids to take the redness away, and it makes you look a bit more sparky/awake.
It doesn't last all day or anything. It's meant to be a good base for eyeshadow but it doesn't 'fix' it for me. I use it on its own mostly.
Touche Eclat is meant to be the biz for undereye shadows... tbh I'm sure it would work on eyelids too.

i think its too dry for under the eyes, would sit in the creases (if you have any!) but i th ink its only meant for lids

nailpolish · 05/03/2007 13:57

yes touche eclat which is not so dry is better for under eyes

my sister says lemonaid works on under-eye bags/shadows too

LaCerbiatta · 05/03/2007 14:01

Ok, so it's like a base for eye shadow? My under eyes are very dry so I guess I couldn't use it there. Touche Eclat is too light and too pink for me unfortunately.
I think I'll go to Debenhams and try the lemonaid on... Thanks everyone
