DH is off to the states and has offered to visit victoria's secret and buy me some new undies. I am stuck in a rut and need some inspiration. Join me for a browse - no thongs though

No point getting new knickers unless you have bras to match, IMO...

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 05/03/2007 11:28

You are so lucky - my dh wouldn't be seen dead in Victoria's Secret ! I wish they did mail order to the UK. I like the look the lace trimmed cotton bikini briefs - comfy and practical with a frivolous twist!

Carmenere · 05/03/2007 11:31

No sorry I can't as one look at that website has just spun me into a depression about my fat backside and jelly belly
But enjoy the undies.

ChippyMinton · 05/03/2007 11:35

carmenere your figure sounds just like mine LOL. Was wondering about boy shorts/hip huggers as i don't want my lumpy bits hanging out. Mrs B I am putting bras on my list, i think he may be able to cope if i give him a print-out of the website to wave at the assistant. Anyone know if USA bra sizing is the same as here?

I think it is, but I can't lay my hands on a VS bra to check.

MrsBadger · 05/03/2007 12:26

VS bra sizing is same as UK - you can search by size here

skirmish · 05/03/2007 12:29

ooohh...i lurve VS...they are the most comfy knickers ever (except for everyday 'bonds' boy short ones)

sunnywong · 05/03/2007 12:30

there are probably droves of hariy handed lorry drivers googling this very thread title on a regular basis.
Heaven

I forgot to say, if the boyshorts have seam along the bottom rather than a gusset, they can be rather uncomfortable when you sit down.

ChippyMinton · 05/03/2007 14:13

sunnywong i didn't think of that until i'd posted the thread - if no-one had replied i was going to get it deleted .

cotton gusset!

ChippyMinton · 05/03/2007 17:45

do they have the uncomfy seam as described by Roskva?

OP posts:
Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 05/03/2007 17:48

Looking at the seam on the front, I suspect they do...

oxocube · 05/03/2007 17:51

Ha! Have just seen some 'panties' advertised on their site as "1% fanny molded"

oxocube · 05/03/2007 17:52

But God, those models are sickeningly young and beautiful, aren't they

spykid · 05/03/2007 18:23

they do have a seam but I have never found them a problem

I am quite fussy with my pants too!
