Can anyone recommend some jeans - not skinnies - for a short curvy person?

I've just succumbed and treated myself to a pair of DM shoes which I have wanted for ages. Love them but they don't quite work with my skinny jeans and fat legs - even thought I've got smallish feet I look a big golf clubesque . So I think I need something a bit looser fitting.

Ideally they'd be:

• dark (indigo or black) as they'll go with more
• petite length or just long enough to roll up
• flattering for a generous bum
• highish waisted so I don't constantly flash said bum
• not £££
• orderable online with easy returns as I'm not planning to be near any decent shops in the next few days

Any suggestions?

I have similar criteria to your and have found these really flattering and confortable.

I'm pear shape and find Gap straight leg jeans to be the most flattering. They come in different lengths and have dark denim.

Oh and I'm 5ft 2 with tiny feet

I agree with the m&s sculpt and lift straight legs. I hope they are as good as they were made 6 years ago as my fave black pair have just worn away on the inside leg chub rub. I lived in these almost every other day until they finally gave up. Even dyed them a couple of times when they started to fade.

Thanks the M&S ones sound hopeful although the styling on their site is bloody awful! Never found anything I like in Wallis but I'll give them a go. Local Gap never seems to have a very good range of sizes and lengths which is annoying but if order online I might be lucky.

I am under 5 foot and curvy. The only jeans I have looked good in for years are from 7 for all Mankind. Unfortunately they are pretty expensive - I have got mine from charity shops.

Which ones? I'm five four and short legs, forever looking for jeans....

The M&S ones are only mid rise, not high rise - I went jeans shopping there today and they had no high rise straight leg at all, just skinny fit and jeggings.

I'm a similar size and shape and would love to know too, I'm after black and/or grey ones.
I have a couple of blue pairs but they are ages old and from Asda of all places.

My jeans requirements are similar to OP's except that I don't care whether they're flattering (just want to be comfortable) and need them to cost under £35. Is this just a pipe dream?

Following a recommendation on here (a few years ago) for budget jeans I bought M&Co jeans. I buy the straight leg ones and they are proper bum covering with a choice of colours and leg lengths. They are currently £20 a pair - £35 for two. I find they come up big in the waist though so I size down.

Gap jeans, try the real straight, or the girlfriend jeans. Both will cover your bum and hold you in. They are all I wear now. (Their real curvy range are bootleg and also a great fit)

Levi's 714 jeans in the 30 leg length are available in a myriad of colours including a plain, undistressed indigo.

I find maternity jeans very forgiving on curves because of the broad elastic panel and have bought a couple of pairs from Topshop although DD is nearly 4 .

I've always managed to find a great fitting pairs in gap, but sadly not anymore! Their current styles really do nothing for me. They are either too wide or too skinny, plus they only stock up to a 32 in store now and occasionally I will need to go up to a 34.

I bought 2 pairs in the monsoon sale at christmas and they are my current favourites. They are a proper denim yet are soft and stretchy. They come up to my belly button and sit nicely. I never would have even looked at them if they hadn't been on sale, but I will be back, and this time I'd even be willing to pay full price!

Another vote for Gap. I've been wearing straight for years, but I bought girlfriend recently and I'm a convert. I'm. 5ft0, and lumpy and bumpy and they for like a dream. And I got 40% off with a code.
