Is this too short for a 47 year old? Please be brutally honest!

Eek! I'll be 40 next year so I'll prepare to cover the knees

Ha! Just back from my colposcopy and these replies have made me smile. Bought my 86 year old mother a skirt at the weekend too:

Oh your mother looks lovely, what a glamorous and beautiful lady she is!

GaryGilmoresEyes · 07/03/2017 16:02

I'm wearing a short dress and I'm over 40. Should I hide from the fashion police 🤣

You look fabulous. You obviously get it from your equally fabulous Mother.

PickleSarnie · 07/03/2017 16:05

If I had legs like yours I'd be wearing hotpants at all times tbh.

Rockaby · 07/03/2017 16:06

Your mum is super glam! It must be genetic Smile.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my mother! She'll be 87 in August and is such a wonderful woman.

Buster I'm already over 40 and have fat thighs so definately keep them covered. But as I said if I had legs like that they'd be on show

BusterGonad · 08/03/2017 03:38

Max my legs are my best bit, I'm 38 and shall keep getting them out for as long as I can, I like to look girly and I'm at my most confident in a short dress. Also my legs are long so finding trousers etc at a acceptable length is a real hassle.

Never 44 and pins out ALL the time
