Anybody tried the Glamoriser straight and style brush?

It's this one. I'm tempted but not sure if half the reviews are from people who were given it for free (iykwim).

I have thick moderately curly hair and fancied it as an alternative to frying my hair at 220'c on straighteners. Not sure if it'll end up being like the Babylis Paddle Brush thing that seems to get average reviews for thick hair.

I bought one yesterday (£50 in Boots at the mo).
I have fine hair but LOTS of it - hairdresser always has to mix up a lot more dye than she thinks she'll need!
I used it this morning after drying my hair and I like it, it didn't get me poker straight but it did smooth out the kinks that I naturally have, it gives a lot more movement than my ghds and I think gives a good base for just sweeping them (the ghds) over to straighten quickly if you wanted a more poker straight style IYSWIM?
