Ahem. I am of course referring to my good self. I love the idea of covering my tummy but don't want to look even more short-legged than I already am (haven't got particularly short legs btw, they are in perfect proportion to the rest of me!)

ladylissie · 03/03/2007 18:07

im 5'2" and i wear tunics with skinny jeans or leggings and flat boots/pumps. makes me look v dainty according to dh

Oh and I could turn them up (well actually there is a fantastic lady in the next village who will do it for a few quid) so they are not down to my knees! Ah, Lissie bless you, I have NEVER been described as dainty (12/14 big norks...)

Just make sure they are no too long, hip length to mid thigh. BTW I am 5'3" and I wear them. Also make sure skinny leg jeans/leggings, no cropped length bottoms. I often wear 4" heels with skinny jeans and the tunic, this seems to work

danceswithnewboots · 03/03/2007 19:33

4" heels....not in this life time! I'm in awe of anyone who can.

i am 5.5 and terribly short in the body, got a lovely top in warehouse here which has all the drapery of tunic without the length. those bishop sleeve things are a bit fearsome though, i may have to take them in....
