Anybody have any experience of these trainers, are they true to size/worth the money - if they stop me buying endless pairs of canvas type ones I'd be very happy. I appreciate the sheep element involved but I do like the worn in look

I like the look of them for children. Though the price is a bit keen for a probable few months wear

Evereve, most of them dont have gold stars, there are lots of other colours amd in real life they are not majorly distressed looking. I have a few pairs, true to size, very comfy unlike every converse/superga type shoe i have tried and so much nicer.

Which do you fancy Cardoon?

Mine are two to three years old and look as good as when i bought them.

I bought some a couple of years ago, they were on sale for less than half price (still an obscene amount but I liked the look of them). I like the design - maybe not the dirt so much but hard to tell on line. I got them and I was baffled! They were an odd shape, really wide and ugly and there was absolutely nothing about them that justified the extra money so I sent them back.

I think that generally they really are the emperors new clothes and the owners of Golden Goose (which if you think about the name is very apt) will be guffawing on a yacht somewhere at the fact so many deluded followers of fashion are buying trainers that look like they come from a charity shop that cost a few quid to produce! They must be laughing all the way to the bank.

However, handy if you try and hide purchases from your husband, you really will be able to get away with "what, these old things?" when he asks you! They are true to size too.

Got an email from Matches £100 off £300 welcome back offer (they must have noticed my obsessive checking of GG Grin) so ordered these....

They came and I love them! Fit perfectly and are really comfy. They feel as if they have a small wedge....which surprised me. Just nicely worn/broken in - not dirty at all. Going to style them like this Smile

Good to hear. I hope you enjoy them. It's great they lived up to your expectations IRL.
