What's your shopping "style"? Bits here and there, or the occasional BIG SHOPFEST?!

My new resolution is to buy things less often, but when I do, buy complete outfits. In the past I have wasted a lot of money buying bits here and there (especially in sales) and then ending up having them sitting in my wardrobe with nothing quite suitable to wear them with. From now on, I think I'll try and buy less often, but more (that actually goes together).

So (being nosy! ):

  1. Little and often, or once or twice a year splurges?
  2. How often do you do a wardrobe de-clutter (and does it make you feel guilty? I always feel terribly guilty, even though I take everything to the charity shop)

I am a little and often, usually a top here or bottoms there. I always find they will 'go' since I usually wear jeans or black trs. I also tend to stick with a few set colours.
